“Bridges of Hope,” an initiative by First United Methodist Church, is an outreach to Mason City and the surrounding areas. We generally have our Bridges of Hope dinner conversations on the third Thursday of every month. Our mission is to demonstrate love, respect, and support for our community through education, meaningful conversations, and warm fellowship. Our Bridges of Hope community dinner conversations represent our commitment to extend our church beyond its walls and connect with the community we cherish. Building a hopeful community requires understanding, healing, and action. We bring people together to discuss important topics, provide a welcoming space to share personal stories, enjoy a meal, and foster fellowship. Our aim is to embrace our community with love, support, and understanding, working together for a brighter future, regardless of our differences.
We extend our gratitude to our Event Coordinator, Betty Chipman for lovingly creating our meals, and appreciate volunteers who are willing help with meal preparation, setup, and cleanup. To volunteer, please call Lori at 641-423-4905. Free will offerings are available at our dinners to help cover the cost of these wonderful meals. Your support and kindness are greatly valued in our ministry.
